TOTAL – South African Sand Castle Record Attempt

SceneAdmin News 1 Comment

In January 2012 TOTAL commissioned Street Scene to set a South African Sand Castle record at Salt Rock Beach on Kwa Zulu Natals north coast as well as hold sand castle workshops for the kids enjoying the holiday season on the beach with their families.

The attempt was successful and by the final day on January 6th a 2 meter tall, 3 meter wide and 5m long sculpture dubbed “King Neptune’s Castle” weighing 12 tons stood proudly on Salt Rock beach despite a storm the day prior and less than ideal sand. The attempt was a success and the first South African record attempt was completed.
